The Planning & Zoning Commission is an advisory body and shall make recommendations regarding the Comprehensive Plan, changes in zoning, recommendations regarding subdivision plats and other planning related matters, and gives final approval of site plans.
- Composed of five (5) members; two (2) alternates may be appointed. Members shall be resident citizens, taxpayers and qualified voters.
- Members serve two (2) year terms, two (2) of which expire in even numbered years and three (3) expiring in odd numbered years.
- Terms expire in July.
- Members shall not hold any other office or position with the city while serving on the commission.
- Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
All zoning applications will not be taken any later than the last Monday of the month to go on the following Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting.
