Guy Brown began his over twenty-year relationship with the City of Hutchins in 1996. In addition to his economic development duties, Guy was Hutchins City Administrator from 2014 – 2016. During his career, he has also served as Executive Director of the Sachse and Corinth Economic Development Corporations.
Guy has been responsible for the location of over 14 Million square feet of industrial and commercial space and 3000 direct jobs in Hutchins including: Union Pacific Dallas Intermodal Terminal, FedEx Ground Distribution Center, American Standard, Hobby Lobby Distribution, Shippers Warehouse I & II, Biagi Beverage Distribution, Core5, Kateon Natie and Georgia Pacific.
Guy has a bachelor's degree in mass communication from Midwestern State University. He is a Certified Economic Developer, Certified Public Manager, and a graduate of the Economic Development Institute.
