The Parks and Recreation Board and city staff collaborate to ensure that residents can enjoy spending time at municipal parks and partaking in other related activities. The four parks (Sunrise Creek, Campbell, Martin Luther King Jr., and Valley View) each include a children’s play area and other amenities.
Each year, the City of Hutchins hosts the following free events:
- Easter Egg Hunt
- Movie in the Park
- Fall Fest
- Christmas Parade
