Finance Director

Oversees operations of Finance Department, utility billing and collections, and municipal court. Directs and manages finance operations to include: audit, cash management, debt services, finance, public investments, purchasing, payroll, banking, financial reporting, accounting and comprehensive financial forecasting. Develops, monitors and revises financial accounting policies and procedures; formulates and directs the City's cash and debt management programs; coordinates and oversees the annual independent audit and preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFER); ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations concerning municipal financial administration including regulatory reporting in accordance with the Governmental Finance Officers Association standards and practices; presents monthly quarterly and year-end financial reports to the City Council.

Police Officer

The City of Hutchins Police Department is currently accepting applications for a TCOLE certified Police Officer.  Applications may be obtained in person at City Hall located at 321 N. Main St. or the Police Department building located at 205 W. Hickman St.  


The starting hourly rate is $22.35
